Stop going to those sorts of websites. If you are getting POPUPS, ask WHO visited those sites on your computer. But go to http://www.download.com and get the free versions of AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destroy. These two programs can clean up alot of the mess.
But update and run your anti-virus program scans. If this does not fix the problem, you might just start over with a formatted hard drive. Look for your programs and Windows disk and get started. You will be at this for hours.

That's a very broad question. We have to start somewhere, what is your definition of "sexually explicit material"? How is your machine connecting to the internet? Who is using it? What is their expertise? Are you trying to stop someone else from downloading something on your machine, or are you trying to stop false advertising? What lengths are you willing to go to stop this? What has happened to cause you to want to stop this? Are you a parent trying to stop a child, a spouse trying to stop a spouse, or a user trying to stop an application from automatically doing this? How much money is it worth to stop this? How much work?

hi, there usually are some virus with porn site that can hack your ie browser.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

you may need parental software or change your settings in IE in the tools menu - internet options - content
I suggest you try that & maybe get something like netnanny or ask your isp which products they provide to stop smut...
OR dont search for it so you get spammed & added to bulk mailing lists your choice
