Integers are whole numbers (1,2,3...), zero, and negative numbers (-1, -2, -3...). So 'integers' include this whole range of numbers, 'positive' integers are whole numbers (1,2,3...), and 'negative' integers only include negative numbers (-1,-2, -3...). There are no fractions or decimals in the integer numbers.

An absolute value of a number is the numerical value of a number, where the positive or negative sign in front is basically removed. Example- +4 would turn into 4 and this would be placed in the middle of two vertical (up and down) lines indicating that it is an absolute value. Also, -4 would turn in a 4 placed in the middle of two vertical lines showing that it is an absolute value.

Opposites are numbers that make 0 when added together because one is positive and one is negative. Example:
1 + -1 = 0, -10 + +10 = 0, -4 + 4 =0

+ integer = whole number greater than zero

I think most of the answers, the ones that at least thought about it, are right. Except I learned that a good way to remember what absolute value is simply it's distance from zero, but yes, always positive.

integer = whole # without any decimals
negative integer = negative whole # without any decimals
positive integer = positive whole # without any decimals
absolute value = If you have a positive number, keep it. If you have a negative number, make it positive.
opposite = if you have a positive number, make it negative. If you have a negative number, make it positive.

Hope that helped :)
