The Bengal's offense will be among the top five in the NFL this year with Carson Palmer looking like his old self again, they got one of the best offensive lines in football to allow time in the pocket for Palmer and Rudi Johnson will be running all over the defense and piling up those yards as always.
Coaching is doing a great job. The Defense is looking better than last years and I think as the season goes on it will get even stronger, but how strong is the question I have. If the younger players start doing their job and Sam Adams does what he has in the past, the defense will be there.
The Kicker, Shayne Graham, is getting better and better each year it seems. Punter, Kyle Larson, has the power to kick it, but accuracy is a problem with him, he his still kinda new to the NFL though, so it wouldn't really be a surprise to see him have a really good year this year.
I think they have a real chance to get to the Super Bowl and win it this year, but I think they may be a year or two from that with a emerging defense. Go Bengals!

Well, the only thing holding the Bengals back is their defense(or lack thereof). If they can get their defense a little bit better, middle of the pack they will have a real shot at being a Super Bowl contender. They will have a very hard schedule though. Also the Bengals will at least split with the Steelers.

They do have a danger even with the undeniable fact that it really is a lengthy shot. They AFC is fairly difficult. in the journey that they play the Steelers back, i don't believe of that they'll beat. this is difficult to conquer a crew 3 situations in a unmarried year, and much more durable once you're talking about the Steelers. The Patriots and the Colts also submit a not ordinary project. I do purely not imagine they're adequate to conquer those communities, even with the undeniable fact that this is not not available. i imagine the Colts from the AFC and per chance Arizona, Minnesota, or New Orleans from the NFC.

I'm still not sold on that defensive line, which killed them last season. Until I see Sam Adams and the rest of the gang stoppoing the run, I won't believe it.
Odell looked great at times last year in his linebacker position, but he was also way out of position on too many plays. And David Pollack has to step up and play like a first-round pick, instead of being invisible like he too often was last season.
They'll score a lot of points, but I'm still not sure they can keep them off the board. If they get even adequate defensive play - especially against the run - then they'll be a contender.

The Bengals have to go into a game knowing that the offense has to carry the defense. You have to have a good "D" to win the big games. Therefore, until the Bengals resolve their defensive weaknesses they will be close but no gold ring.

Look, even the Cardinals have a legit chance......No one thought that the Steelers would win the SuperBowl last year! But to answer your question, Yes, I think that the Bengals have a very good shot.

I saw Palmer on Monday night, and he looked pretty damn good. If he stays healthy, the defense shows up and starts stopping people, and they stay out of jail, I think they can mix it up with anyone in the league, and have an outside chance of getting to the big dance.

WHO DEY! Palmer gets promoted to Demi-God status, and Lewis passes the almighty Paul Brown as the best Bengals coach ever... As for all you doubters, watch what this "weak defense" (HAHAHAHAHA!) does to your team. Marvin envisioned a defense when he came to Cincinnati... it is ALIVE!
To answer your question... YES!!!
