I know 11 million (or more) people who do not hate Americans - those who are here illegally, now. Ask the State Department how many legal applications they are processing, for people who want to come to the US. If it is another 11 million, it would not surprise me.
There are six billion people in this world. I suspect that there are all kinds of opinions in those 6 billion. No one from another country has offered the opinion that everyone in America is insane. The statement is just asinine.
I personally do not care what others, either in the US or outside the US, think of me. Just do not mess with me or mine.
I certainly am not embarrassed by anything I do or by anything the government of the US does. Presumably we elect reasonable people to run our government.
We live in the best country in the world. Our form of government is the best. Our future is the best. Quit complaining, moaning, making inane comments and enjoy what you have.

You should definately be embarresed. The americans like to impose themselves and there idiologies on other nations. Any "puppet nation", good or bad, democratic or dictorial, will be supported blindly. The americans have no interest in the well being of other nations accept when it effects their economy. They attack and destroy weaker nations who are an alleged" threat" to america.You have 37 million un-employed americans and yet you "help" other nations. For your info these so called humanitarian relief food suplies(Yellow maize) from states are many a time not edible(I have personally seen some of them). The so called "aid" they give out has so many strings attached that many poor nations are unable to repay even the interest live alone the principal amount. Any foreign govt that does not sing the american tune is labelled "AXIS OF EVIL". Nations like S.Africa realised this and have not accepted aid from americans.Americans want to impose there "Freedom" on nations like Iraq and afganistan and see the result your self. They are not ashamed to claim that they have freed Iraq's. Yes freed from a thriving country to war ravaged, illegal american occupation.Americans cannot go any where in the world without fear. Why? Thanks to your "democratically ellected" govt foreign policies of double standards. It is only narrow minded and ill informed americans who believe in there govt propagandas. I think you all should look beyond your" noses" and see the real world before you judge them. If you think you can destroy a religion like Islam than you are definately insane.

Yes you should be, just as the rest us get embarrassed when our governments make fools of us. Yours just does it more often than the rest of us. Why do some Americans believe that the rest of the world is jealous of it. What are we jealous of? Freedom of speech! i have that. NEWSFLASH! Most countries have Always hated us. Its nothing new. Why are people all of a sudden thinking this, it has always been this way. And if they say its Bush then they are just a MORON thats been living under a rock. And yes I would prefer if they liked us but what could we do. We already help them so much yet they still hate us. no. because if the other countries really had an issue with us, they would quietly use economic pressure to devalue our currency and our economy.

but because the american dollar is still the most widely traded currency in the world, our aid and assistance to even those that we are odds with (take the outpouring of money and food to iran and cuba and other countries) that supports their people and the infrastructure of our "enemy" nations, and others and you will see that although we may not be lilked, we are loved for our stability and outreach.

what they think is really insane is that our government allows wackos like you to say whatever you want, without fear of being put in prison or being killed as you would with most of the other nations you profess to care so much for.
