Is it really bad? Is it on your face, all over your body, or just parts of your body? See a dermatologist about that because the last thing you need is to make your situation worst by breaking your skin by forcing the in-grown hair out with tweezers and/or your fingers. A lot of people forget that the skin is one big organ and is one of the first lines of defense against diseases. So, consult a dermatologist and see what can be prescribed safely for your skin condition. The last thing you want to do is compromise your defensive fortress called your skin.

Try exfoliating the skin, rinse with hot water to help the hair to rise to the surface, then pluck with a tweezer.

check out sephora.com They have some lotion products that gradually make your skin peel away to get the hair to the surface. I would say that is your best bet if you dont want scars or pain. Just type ingrown hair in the search box.

personnally I squeeze mine a bit then pick them out with a sterilised needle, maybe not the best way to do it but its so satisfying! I get them from waxing.

you can pluck or pick them out with a tweezer. but instead of using the flat part of the tweezer, use the pointy edge part.
hope i helped!

exfoliating can help prevent them in the first place but tweezers will help remove the current ones. hope it doesn't hurt too much
