That is not true not to let your animal go outside at all after spaying/neutering. I walk my chihuahua every day!!! And my cat goes outside sometimes!!!

It is possible that during spaying, the vet did not remove all of the uterus and it will cause the animal to go into heat.

Yes they can. We have a female cat that still goes into heat 2 years after she was spayed. Our vet told us that if part of the uterus was left in the animal, she can still go into heat even though she cannot get pregnant. Temperature changes always make her go into heat.

No, they will spay/neuter after the animal is done being in heat.

A spayed female can not go into heat...if she was spayed while in heat, she will continue to be in heat, but can not get pregnant.....A neutered male can will not be interested in an in heat female...unless recently neutered...he can not reproduce.
