"Dreamcatcher" tells the story of four young friends who perform a heroic act - and are changed forever by the uncanny powers they gain in return. Years later, on a hunting trip in the Maine woods, they are overtaken by a blizzard, a vicious storm in which something much more ominous moves. Challenged to stop an alien force, the friends must first prevent the slaughter of innocent civilians by a military vigilante, then overcome a threat to the bond between them. In the end, they confront an unparalleled horror, with the fate of the world in the balance.

The movie is also called Dreamcatcher and on a scale of one to ten, I'd give it a four. That's only because if I hadn't have read the book first I would have been totally lost during the first half hour of the movie. That, and the fact that the movie leaves out so many details of the story. But then again, Stephen King's books never did end up making a good movie.

It is called "Dreamcatcher." I really enjoyed the movie. Then again I think most of Stephen King's books or movies are pretty wild and original. That's what makes Stephen King so good.
