Right click on the file
Select rename from the menu that appears
Change the ending of the file name from jpeg to jpg
A jpeg file and a jpg file are the same format
Just different spellings of the name

theses are the same file type all you have to do is change the extension.
to do this go the folder that has the file click on "tools" "folder options" "view" then uncheck the box for "hide extensions for known file types" click ok. Then you can rename the file changing the .jpeg to .jpg

er, a .jpeg file and a .jpg file are the exact same format.
you could rename it from .jpeg to .jpg if you really needed to, but it'd make no difference to the format of the file - the .jpeg file would still be a .jpg.

It's the same type, so you shouldn't have to change it anyway, but if you have to, then changing it by right-button-click on element and change it's name to "nameoffile.jpg"
