Best AntiVirus to us in my opinion is AVG Free-Just type that in google and you'll find it! And Ad-Aware Se Personal-that is free also type this in Google and download. With these two on my comp I have been virus free!! I heard Norton causes more probs than it's worth.I got some games on disk from a friend, loaded it,opened a folder and a window popped up and told me I had just opened a virus-had I not had AVG,I wouldn't have known it was there, I find it exellent.Give it a try-send the buggers to the vault and delete em or fix em.Good look!!
Also if it is Winscan or WinFix-Look for it in your program folders,If you find it delete it-but be careful not to delete anything else! Go to control panel-Add and remove programs-and look in there too.But try AVG and Ad-Adaware Se first!....

turn off system restore and do your virus scan in safe mode and /or boot scan
some off the Trojans hide a small part in system restore so when you reboot the virus comes back
try this first
avast is a good anti-virus and will do a boot scan .also it is free .www.avast.com

just restart your computer from the beginning, you know use the system recovery CD. although the virus protection are helpful, they are more of a bodyguard, they protect but cannot stop you getting killed! sounds funny but thats exactly from the mouth of a circuit city guy... restarting your comp is cheaper and quicker than trying to delete a trojan off, its the worst kind of virus. anyway we now use AVG free virus protection and it updates itself all the time and comes up with reminders when we also need to update it for double protection. fingers crossed we have had no more trojans!

hi,perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

try going to wwww.antivirus.com & do a HOUSECALL scan of your PC...
You may need to get a decent antivirus package even a trial version to clear the problem..if all else fails it seems time to format & reload.
but try the above & good luck
