Talk to your dermatologist about prescribing Retin-A Micro.

Well I have acne too, nothing works. =[ Go to a dermatologist and they will prescribe you acne medication. Just dont take acne pills if they tell you to cuz those cause depression and personality changes that can lead to suicide. Before you go 2 the doc, make sure u used all of these things for 6-8 wks. Im about to try proactiv for the 2nd time and if that doesnt work.. then what will?

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is: http://www.acne-treatment-medicine-1.info/

Okay, what I'm about to share goes against the grain.

May I suggest another solution?

Because of our western diets, chemical additives, medicines, and habits, our bodies do not eliminate toxins properly. They are trapped in our lower intestines, and particularly our colons. This can cause many problems, including constipation, acne, severe allergies, loss of energy and much more. The bodys first line of defense is a healthy colon.

Do an online search for colon cleansing or detoxification and read everything you find. You will discover that other people eliminated acne when they cleansed themselves of harmful toxins. Perhaps you need to treat the cause and not the symptoms of your problem.

What ever you do... Please do not use laxatives!

Laxatives are harsh and can cause damage. They do not remove the impacted fecal matter or detoxify.

Find yourself a safe herbal colon cleanse. Follow the directions carefully. Do not try to double the dosage. Drink plenty of water and get some exercise. Even simple walking in the evening will help. Lots of water!

Cleansing your body of harmful toxins takes a few weeks. Don't be in a hurry. Your patience and determination will be rewarded.

It's just a thought.

Good Luck.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Have you gone to the drs. yet? There are plenty of products out there that work. Be you need to see a doctor!!!! I use Differin Gel. And a couple of times a year I get a chemical peel and a facial. Try to locate a spa in your area. Aveda is a good place.

First off, talk to a doctor about prescribing Duac Topical Gel. Next, get a non-medicated cleanser (Cetaphil worked for me) and try that. It took awhile, but I'm actually seeing results!

As for your cheeks, do you mean they are red because of the acne? If so, do you sleep on your sides? Your face probably touches your unclean pillowcase and causes breakouts. It happens to me all the time because I can't retrain myself to sleep on my back. :( If they are just red, I have no clue what to do.

oooh, i've had the same experience. i've gone to a dermatologist for quite some time but the acne just comes back. he did prescribe tetracycline, and it worked. just ask your derma about using it. also, internal cleansing. i just drank a lot of water everyday and it did wonders, more so than the medicine. i actually drank water as my student suggested in order to relieve my throat but after a while, my aunt and other people noticed the change in my face as well. you can do it! :-)

If your acne is not clearing up using over the counter medicine then its and internal problem. Brewers yeast tablets helps... yogurt, water, colon cleanse, and a detox diet. You can make a homemade mask with kiwi, lemon, green tea powder, honey and a lil bit of flour so it won’t fall of your face.
