If, say you have always had a negative view of soldiers for example, could something sway your strongly held position?

Oh something could sway my strongly held position....
If someone was to prove me wrong about something, then, although a bitter pill, I would swallow it and admit that I was wrong.
But then again I'm rarely proven wrong, but that doesn't mean I'm closed to the possibility.
(I would like to see you change my dog's mind though!)

If a person is not open to possibilities others come up with then that person has a very narrow mind. There is always the chance that there is something about something that person felt strongly about that can't but later perception of that something - could also be new developments.

Yes, a persons views can change.
Having read some of her posts... I don't think she means any of it... she loves to get a reaction... and she got one out of you didn't she?
Although I did agree with her about the Red Arrows, they are pointless and not in the least bit entertaining... the cow comments make me cry with laughter... you and the others shouldn't have taken them so seriously.
I bet deep down, she just loves the army uniform on a man!!!!!

YES ...SOME PEOPLE WILL HEAR SOMETHING THAT CAN CHANGE THERE MINDS ....EXAMPLE THE SOLDIERS...LET'S SAY U R 4 IT AT FIRST AND THAN U MEET A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT WERE OVER THERE AND THE STORYS THEY TELL U CHANGE YOUR VIEW...........SO TO MY THINKING YES U CAN CHANGE YOUR VIEWS.........

i think they can if you are misinformed about something and the the truth becomes apparent surely your opinion would change. But it takes alot to admit you were wrong and then go back on what you believed in
