Yes.

I even disapprove of mixed gender schools or lessons.

Actually, studies show that male students tend to learn more from male teachers and female students tend to learn more from female teachers. Studies also show that students learn best in classes of only one gender.

However, this is measuring only the content of the curriculum and not the socio-psychological development of students. I am of the opinion that students need positive role models of both genders.

Who honestly care....i mean it really don't matter, but yes if the teacher is the same gender as you then okay..but you can still be influenced by another gender easy, so the answer is no.

no, it doesn't mattar what gender they are. i am better influenced by the teachers who are nicer. some teachers seem mean on the first day and the kids haven't done anything wrong yet! it's not the rules, it's the way they say it. it's much too harsh.

and do you mean "think" instead of "like"?

No, it has to do on how well that teacher is teaching. Separating gender would start a whole sexist thing again.

Nope. I'd rather have teachers that teach well, not ones who are the same gender as me.

i disagree. if men and women don't learn together, then how will they ever be able to debate one-another?
also, I'm a dude and i can think of teachers that i had that were cool that were guys, and some that were girls. if you can't learn from both, you have a disadvantage.
