I don't have much info on Colorado. But I have heard from several people that the cost of living is REALLY expensive. I also heard that it is difficult to get good health insurance in the state, but I could be wrong about that one...
Good Luck:)

Where you from?
Go rent a house there for several weeks.. especially during WINTER! Then let's see if you're still interested..
Seriously.. I know alot of peeps from SoCal.. move up to a northern state.. few years later.. Bam.. they be back in SoCal..
So I say TRY it out first.. like a date.. a probation period.. take it for a test drive. That way you won't be sorry holmes.
