wow that was bad! Grad weekend got a room and the people next to us were smashing up the furniture, drinking fighting and swearing. My husband had driven 9 hours and just passed out ,it was my turn to drive the next morning....the Walls of this place were like paper I could hear every sound and word, which made me a fraid to call the office. At one point they threw a chair off the balcony at which point woke my husband he flew out there and yelled some not very nice words. After that it settled down for about 10 mins. Then they were back at it......to make a long story short the police arrived at 4:00am and everyone was taken handcuffed away....the next morning I decide to take the key back and told them what a horrid night I had had....they had had many complaints and had called the police at midnight but it was a small town and the police were busy with other rowdy's else where in town...well I got my money back and poor hubby had to drive that day too!

I got a room in a mid-range hotel in a backwater town in Panama. For some reason they left all the doors open to the rooms that weren't occupied. After checking in, I went to my room and began to unpack. I was putting my shaving gear in the bathroom when I noticed that the floor was wet and that someone had used the shower and all the towels. Someone had also defecated in the toilet, which was apparently clogged, because the evidence was still there. When I went back to the desk, they acted as though I was crazy, but to their credit they gave me a very nice room with a sauna and jacuzzi for the price I'd paid for the first room.

I stayed at this one place where there was mold in the bathroom and there were dead bugs on the floor of the bathroom. It was supposed to be a good hotel too. I brought hand sanitizer with me and I poured it everywhere in there. The room was good just not the bathroom. The second worst experience was the jacuzzi tub being broken.

We stayed overnight in Kingman, AZ (near Laughlin, NV - which is 90 miles south of Las Vegas). It was the only room we could get so late at night. The bathtub was actually broken (as though someone had taken a hammer to it), and there were holes in the wall. Can you top that?

booked a room in Shawnee, Oklahoma out of the yellow pages. Was a business trip so it was a budget motel. I went along with him and we pulled up. It looked like a crack house, with people lounging outside in old kitchen type chairs, with the doors open. Guess there was no air conditioning and it was August.
I said I would rather sleep in the car than stay there, so we turned around and found another.

I once made a reservation for a hotel on a ferry ride, TWO HOURS LATER when I got there I cried it was so disgusting. I tried to cancel but the hotel said they required a
24 HOUR NOTICE to cancel. When my husband showed up he said a few foul words and we left to another hotel. But we did end up paying for both.
WE WILL NEVER STAY AT A BEST WESTERN!!!!!!!!

Well it wasn't MY worst experiance but it was probably my dads. We had to stay in a hotel in Miami called THE FOUR EMBASSADORS for one night because the next night we were going on a cruise. So I had to sleep with my mom in one bed and my dad had to sleep on the roll out couch. My dad said that the bed probably attacked him! The springs were hurting him and that his foot got stuck in the couch!!! We will never stay in that hotel again!

Ok, I think it was at Amerisuits. Anyways, the whole room smelled like piss, it was the airconditioner...I think. We got another room as soon as we smelt it. That room smelled less, but the sheets were stiff, crunchy, and scratchy the bed squeaky, the shower gross. The thing that surprised me was that this hotel was in Charlotte NC. A nice city. I would have expected more from them.

my husband and I took a much needed trip at a pricey hotel (he figured what the hell.). We don't usually stay in places that pricey.
The first night at about 11 when I was enjoying the soft bed we got a call apparently for the guy staying in our room the night before, asking if we'd "like another girl tonight." !!!
And we kept getting calls. "Is ___ there?" "Is ___ there?"
I've been needing a place to vent. thanks.
