i don't want to e-mail you. But I feel the same way, I'm 56 and I can;t even get a date. People seem to think once you get a certain age, life should just stop.

I am 65 and showing no signs of the great slowdown that I anticipated when I was thirty something. I retired from the military at 50 went back to school and got a post graduated degree and entered the civilian workforce at 53. Twelve years later, I am working full time at a technical job and living the dream. Tell my employer I am of no use, he gets nervous when I cough. I do my job well and am indispensable, even though I am surrounded by the techies of the X generation, who would love to ease me out for my salary and benefits. I'm thinking retirement sounds like something I will do about 70 to 75 years of age. I am having way too much fun now, living in my 600 k house on the lake and driving my 2006 Mercedes Roadster.

Oh heck yes, hon, 49 is young and sexy! Don't look for male companionship in bars, is all. Get out and about, place an ad in the personals section of your local paper, see and be seen. Let your female acquaintances know you're looking - despite old wives tales, sometimes friends fixing up friends works out quite well!

Ive just turned 50 in June and I am as fit now as I was when I was in my 20s, in fact I have more energy then my 25 year old daughter who comes home from work and goes to sleep.
I work full time and still have time to look after my elderly parents.

you sound like a lady thats is actually lonely if your using this as a place to mate...I am 38 and at 45 I better not be doing this..Age is just a number you know...and we all have numbers so just enjoy your life without thinking that a mate makes it a better place to be...you can have a great life on your own and do so many things..
your beautiful...your beautiful...... it's true.....

I hope so. I'm 42 and thinking about divorce. I hope to find someone who still would like to date me, that I want to be around.
Let me know (grin)
