First, I'll say that I'm sorry for your loss.
After a miscarriage your period should return with in 4-6 weeks. This means you will ovulate about 2 weeks before you have a period. If you had sex during your ovulation phase you could be pregnant.
You should know that home tests are not 100% accurate, and you can get false postivies and false negatives. After the miscarraige your hCG levels should decrease everyday but, you sitll might have high enough levels of hCG in your system to give you a postivie result.
The best way to know for sure is to go to the OB and get a blood test. Good luck with everything.

Ask your doctor for an ultrasound. Although it's rare you may have miscarried a twin and you could still be pregnant. This happened to me
although I eventually lost the second as well.
It also happened to the daughter of a coworker
and she went on to have a healthy baby.
So really have your doctor rule this out.
If your not pregnant wait a few months before trying again your body and your heart need a rest. I've been there and done that four times

yes, this very thing happened to me. the hormone level takes a little while to go back to normal. be careful. i kept getting positive readings. i got pregnant 20 days after a miscarriage. ended up with a 25 week premmie

yes it is possible as the hormones in your body will still show up as pregnant on a test but if your in any doubt do another 1 and ask the doctor to send you for a scan
