Ok so it's a rly long and complicated shpiel. But I deleted 700 songs on accident, and restored them, but I can't find the files again. When you restore a file, where is it restored to?

when you do a restore your just restoring your registry..the files deleted during the course are all lost..you cannot retrive them..the best possible option is get a goback program like Norton Goback

The same place it was deleted from. Restore them, then search using wildcards eg look for "*.mp3"

My Music, Your Shared Files, one of the two if using XP.

It's usually restored to the place that you had it originally. Try searching your computer for the file type that they are: .cda , .ram, .mp3 or whatever.

I don't know the answer but did you do a search on one of the songs? If you find one, you will find the rest.
