we need scented toilet paper because sometimes you have to take a long visit to the john and it can be highly stinky.
plus some people stink anyway by nature so if we can decontaminate some of the source, i say de-stink their bums.

Most people in the eastern part of the world wash and not wipe.
And who is going to smell .......? If smelling is a fetish then why not prepare at the required time?

Good question, true...right up there with how come when I went on vacation in Kentucky I did not find one restroom with paper towels or toilet seat covers? =) makes ya think, doesn't it?

to make people ask why we need it. i also dont understand toilet paper with lotion in it, i just dont feel clean after usin it

It's the same reason why there is Braille printed on the number-pad at drive-thru ATM's.
