My husband is Tatar and the Turks I know are fine people, cultured, well educated and attractive. We went to Istanbul for a few days once and stayed at the Chirigan Sarai with a room facing out onto the Bosporus. It is one of the most romantic places to stay I have ever been to. I would like to go back to Turkey some day and see more.
Dracula is a blind idiot. Not all Americans are fat whores without morals. Probably he won't be well-liked in Turkey either.

I seem to get in trouble for giving my opinion of Turks. I had a rough time in Turkey. I was followed and hit of relentlessly. I tried to be polite but they still followed me and then I tried to ignore so I was sworn at and had thing thrown at me. It sucked. Also I found sales people pushy and that the prices were rediculous. (I say this as a white girl who lived in the middle east). On the other hand I met some nice guys who watched out for me with all the crap that was happening to me there. They were friends on a friend and did what they could to protect me. I will also say that I love the food and the country side and sights are amazing. I also got a great hair get at that big mall on the Asia side of Istambul...Azamark or something like. Other then that I don't want to go back because I spent most of the time scared and crying...and I was visiting from Afghanistan for goodness sakes!!!

I married a Turkish woman in Ankara. We went to Antalya, Side, Alanya and of course Istanbul. Turks are wonderful people with tight family values unlike my native fat disgusting classless American counterparts. We will move out of this God forsaken BS country some day.
