whenever it fills up with garbage a strange stink develops. What should i do?

Hey tor s,
Well, you have many choices.
You can wash the can; Live with the smell; put some odor absorbing chemicals in it (arm and hammer maybe); mask the smell with another smell (pshew), cover it better; empty it sooner.
If you have a garden, put the GARBAGE (food waste) in a seperate container, and empty that daily in a compost pile, cover with dirt. Or get a pig to eat it.
You could start a methane gas manufacturing center and burn it for fuel.
My choice would be to use smaller bags, empty it more often.

This has got be one of the funniest questions ever asked on here. I cant stop smiling....Darling, you need to put your shoes on (yes, and your pants) and take the bag out to the garbage.

There ought to be a law against people as stupid as you putting questions on here. It's garbage of course it stinks.
Wash out the can and tie up the garbage bags and empty them before they get rank. Duh.

Do what the others say.Clean the can, spray disinfectant, use baking soda powder, etc.

Put your waste in a black kitchen bag and tie it up. If you squash it , you will get all the fumes, but hey suppress.... don't light up tho.. LOL.
