Absolutely! So many ppl want to sweep the subject under the rug and not deal with it, and look where it's getting us...no where! Abortions and irresponsible children having children are on the rise and it's our tax dollars paying to support them. They need to finish their education first so they can be self-sufficient, and then think about raising kids. As a journalist, it's your duty to put this piece out there on the circuit.
Good luck and go get 'em girl!

Yes, there should be an in-depth article using student experiences be allowed to be published. Its quite a controversial subject to present, and it might not be welcomed by the meddling administration and parents. I had the same problem my senior year of high school (C/O 2002) because of the political climate of where I attended. Evangelical Christians consider both "out-of-bounds," but students are still going to screw up or go behind their parents backs. After all, its only natural for two teenagers (who think they love each other) go to "homerun." To prevent a pregenancy, one need to employ the proper birth control. But, people are totally against it -- and sadly its hypocritical.
Overall, I support your proposal because its necessary to educate your peers but believe me you meet some opposition and the school editorial would blast it. But, who cares? What is journalism about -- to report the TRUTH! But, you need to make your sources anonymous (because of the ridicule that teenage girls get "whore" or "slut") and you to treat it professionally and with the utmost confidentiality. Good luck!

Yes it should. Because in a school full of teenagers and they can easily get pregnant (not saying you're irresponsible or anything) it should be very important to take note of. Also, knowing other peoples problems will tell the other teens to help those people in any possible way they can.

Yes. Education through peers is a great tool, that was the basis of forming forums. Although your audience is extremely immature so some discretion is needed as to what is published. Nothing influences teens like peers.

Yes, we shouldn't be dealing about "taboos" of the things we should be paying more attention.
You can try and investigate about the side effects of a lot of those anti-conceptive methods, like I heard the the pill give to girls sometimes facial hair.
Go deep to all those subjects that people don't know but should know.
Good luck, and I hope this helps you!

Yes as long as the teens give their info voluntarily and their privacy is respected I think it's a good idea. It's reality and who better to hear experiences from and learn from than your own peers.

I don't see why not. Sex is something that most if not all high school kids think about and go through. As long as it is done in a tastful manner, I don't see a problem.
