A democracy forces governments to convince the public that they are the most appropriate for the country. This convincing can be achieved by demonstrating efficiency and past success (ha ha), or by fabricating efficiency and past success. The former takes brains and the latter takes £300 million pounds. Therefore the latter is the only viable option for the current administration. Can they tell the truth? never, because the voting public never fails to be impressed by £300 million pounds of the most spectacular, cabbage-brained, mind-numbingly childish, laughable rubbish. Who said you can't put a price on the freedom to vote?

New Labour is not socialism.
Old Labour was socialism. New Labour is a bunch of greedy arseholes sucking up to whoever they feel can win them another term in office. The don't give a flying you-know-what about the ordinary folk of Britain, the hard working, family-supporting taxpayers. They are happy to offer benefits and freebies to any asylum seeker who comes over here in the hope of winning more votes and appearing terribly terribly PC.
But in amongst all this the ordinary people of Britain have been forgotten.

I think we have found the answer to be no. To tell the truth would expose a government so corrupt and sleazy that they would have to go. We will not find the true extent of their legacy for a long time but I think we will suffer a great deal till then.

The Electorate was duped and misguided into thinking it was Voting for "Truth" when in fact we (some of us) voted for what amounted to "Promises - Promises - Promises" by a bunch of Bullshiting , Connoniving , Self Seeking Cretins. = Now you see the results
