This guy is getting me a very well paid job, but I KNOW him, and I know he'll make a slave out of me, he'll call sundays saturdays, weekdays at 11pm whenever he wants and he won't care if I'm available or not, I'll have to be there for him, he hasn't told me so of course but that's how it's gonna be, I can't say no, my parents depend on me, I'll never get this chance again, it's that or the street, I feel trapped, help me keep myself together!!!

Don't answer the phone when you don't wanna be bothered! Be available when YOU want to be, and just don't let him find you the rest of the time. Relax......YOU are in control of how people treat you (for the most part) They are gonna use you as far as you will LET them! They will talk to you as disrespectful as you LET them talk to you. Get it??

If this job pays well and there are no other opportunities, you better get that job. Maybe it won't be too bad. Just set limits whenever he calls you. Definitely, don't answer the phone at 11p. With caller ID you would know if he's the caller. Just ignore it.Tell him upfront that you don't entertain calls that late; and not on weekends as you also have a life outside of your job. In the meantime, search for another job.

I have worked jobs like that and ,lived to tell the tale. Use this as a way out, and a stepping stone, keep your resume on the market and go on interviews at lunchtime if possible. And try to get out. :)
