This question is mainly for the women who are now married...but were once players. When did you get that "feeling" of wanting a family?? Was it hard to settle down?? I'm 25 and just recently started having that "feeling"

I was a huge player! until one day When I met my now husband and realised he was different to all before him. he was a keeper not a user.we were married at 24 and our first child came along at 28 and was 33 when my second was born.one day it just hits you.being a player can be fun but its not forever

That feeling hit me around 27. My own daughter is feeling it now at 24. You sound like you have just reached the same point.

I had a very hard time settling down. I had my first child at 29 which is older than most people. I just wasn't ready for that until I reached 29. I was not mature enough to settle down to raise a child until that age.

On the other hand, my older sister had her first child at 22. She had always wanted to be married and have kids since I can remember. She was ready much earlier than me. She had no trouble settling down to raise the kids.

I had always wanted to settle down since I was about 16 even though I was always at parties with different guy friends but never took a guy serious because no one wanted to settle down at that age. I got married when I was 18 but got separated when I was 21. It wasn't hard for me at all until we started having problems. I'm still looking for a man who loves me and wants to settle down also. You'll just know when you want to settle down. Just make sure to be ready and strong for anything that comes along.

I was more like a pimp 3 dates with 3 different people in one night. But I had a "Boyfriend" so I wasn't really a player. I Finally settled down at 18 when I came into an arcade and left with my Husband. It wasn't hard at all to settle down with him. It was love at first sight.

Go with your gut feeling... but some people fall in love with the thought of having the happy family life... just make sure you're ready.. Some people say once a player always a player.. that's not true.. I know many who turned their life around.. Good Luck!!

When I met my husband I knew he was the one. Not long after that we decided to have a family. I guess for me it was finding the right guy that made me want to settle down.

I think its call maturity not that "feeling". I think we all grow up in different ways some are players, some are druggies, some are just strange and most of us are just out for ourselves and having fun, but there comes a point and time when we grow up and mature into responsible adults.
