Has anyone ever extracted revenge on someone...if so, what was it for and did you feel better once you'd done it...???

Thanks so far for answering everyone. In truth this was only a light hearted question and was looking for funny answers. in response to Aditi, yes I have, and in answer to what maybe a few or even all of you are thinking... it still makes me smile 2 years on.

I had a female stalker (I know its wierd) but this person in my belief is a truely evil person. I lived with daily death threats etc for a long time.

Anyway my revenge was this: I aquired, through a friend of a friend of a friend type thing....(you know how it goes) a very expensive jar of her favorite moisturiser... so I pee'd in, and it was placed back into her home. That was it, nothing too terrible considering what she put me through. But do I regret it...Absolutely not!!!!!

Anyway I'll give 'best answer' to the funniest. So far, the stolen mail box is winning for me.
Cheers x x

A girl cheated on my little brother once when we were younger... So we went to her house in the middle of the night and stole her mailbox...which, yes, is a felony...and rather strange..But her father had hand painted their whole family on it, it was how they directed people to their home "Just look for the painted mailbox" and it was the most unexpected item of sentimental value we could get our hands on. She never found out it was my brother, but we relished in the thought of her facial expression when she came outside the next morning and POOF! the mailbox was missing.

Typically I'd advise against revenge..but if you do take the plunge, go with something creative. lol

Good Luck and Happy Tormenting! ;p

"Revenge is a pleasure of gods" but truth is that it costs pain and gives pain. Pleasure is a real winning when someone you want to punnish reconcile with you becuse of your attitude and behaviour. Its hard but means profits no matter if you are greed and smart or you are good natured and wise. It doesnt work always because agreement can be unable to make or your enemy is unable to change his attitude to you. Take a look at Lebanon, Iran and Israel and also U.S. they live in rounded hatred when together could make admirable achievements that acient world wonders cant measure with. Uh, too much of my dreams. I saw cat living with dog like brothers and it was even funny that they learn some habits from each other that are not normal for their species behaviour. Cat was dengerous like dog and dog was silent and smart like cat and such things. Israel and other troublemakers making good things together - only God can help those morans and violent nations. What is the point of they stupid, loooooong fight?

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!! I was made redundant a couple of years ago but it wasn't done professionally nor nicely despite the commitment and hard work I'd given the company. I successfully sued them for unfair dismissal and won a nice sum to tide me over! Moral of the story - don't f*** with a trainee solicitor, she has very influential & shrewd friends!
I am however a great believer in Karma - what goes around, comes around so I leave whoever has upset me to get their own comeuppence!

Sometimes revenge was something in lines of a practical joke. 95% of those times I felt justified and with no remorse.

There was one thing I did that was really mean as revenge. I was cheapened by the experience. I did not get caught. I got away with it. But I was not a better person for doing it.

I have done on occasions, and I've also chosen not to on occasions.

I don't see the point to revenge, because it continues the 'hate'. If you exact revenge, then they will want to return the favour and we never get anywhere.

How refreshing would it be to let yourself be the bigger person and stop the anger? I think that is the only way to truly feel better, otherwise you will always know that you hadn't got the control to stop it.

I do not know that I had my revenge as such, but a colleague at work unjustly verbally attacked me, I deliberately maintained my calm and professional stance, but inwardly vowed to myself, that what goes around will come around!
It did, and she created a situation of her own making, which resulted in me being instrumental in her being given instant dismissal not the nicest incident I have ever found myself in!
It was a form of cold revenge via her own stupidity, but to me it was a double edged sword, revenge was sweet, but I felt sorry for her in the end, well her family anyway!

I used to exist based on do unto others.......the only thing revenge ever brought me was misery, especially after the fact when I reflected on what I had done. I have learned that forgiveness is a much better road to travel.

Revenge is never good.Life is hard enough and there is enough Hate in the world. It says in the Bible to treat others as you like to be treated. Does that make sense to you. When your shoulders are heavy who do you go to because of all the pent up feelings? It might feel good for about 15 seconds then what? Just remember the golden rule" What goes around comes around.

Probably best to plan the most appalling revenge you can think of, carry it out in your head, and then move on. Not quite the real thing, but less likely to have repercussions for all concerned

a friend of mine found out her partner had cheated on her, he then dumped her (and there 2 toddlers!) She did lots of nasty things to him.
(to name a few)...
She egged his/his families cars/ homes
superglue in the car lock (and ignition!!!)
set him up on a blind date with a man (through ba friend of a friend of a friend sort of thing.)
had him arrested (i dont know how she managed that)
broke into his flat and trashed it.

I didn't agree with everything she did, but my personal favoourite was.... Stealing the only sky remote control he had........so simple, but how annoying would that be?

and ..oh yes she did feel better afterwards, although she is not the most moral of people. In my opinion revenge is futile, thats why ive never bothered with it.
