Personally, I go about every 2-3 months to be waxed and just pluck any stray hairs in between trips. I've been doing this for years and I really don't notice the pain from either one anymore.

Good luck!

You should get your eyebrows threaded. It still hurts because you're plucking 3 and 4 hairs at a time. It's a lot more defined when you get them threaded and it lasts longer than waxing them. But whether you pluck or thread, you should put Ambysol (spelling?) on it to numb it. Oh what we women go through for beauty.

waxing hurts less because you're done sooner but i wouldn't reccomend you to wax too often since the rough was removing process makes your eyelids heavy eventually and you might start looking older. so i reccomend you to wax once a month and just pluck every little hair you see growing every 2 days or so. that way you only have to dedicate a couple of minutes a day and you'll always look like you just went to the salon.

Yes you can pluck the hair between the eyebrows. Since this is your first time you should apply vaseline on the area as it protects the skin and makes it easier to pluck the hairs. Good Luck and don't fret over it as it really is very easy!

waxing hurts a lot less than plucking. I recommend plucking primarily to clean up your eyebrows every few days

Unless you have a serious unibrow just pluck it. It's easier, more accurate, and you can do it routinely. There aren't sensitive nerve endings there so don't worry about pain.
Use a black Revlon Expert tweezer. They're like $6 at Target, but worth it since they stay sharp and don't flex.

Have a professional shape your eyebrows with wax, then maintain them yourself with tweezers. Wax them as often as you can afford, or 2-4 times a year should be fine.

Also, as the artist at the MAC counter told me, "you pluck chickens, you tweeze eyebrows." Just semantics :)

Tweezering (Not Plucking) is just as effective, and much less expensive. Just take your time, and DON'T just Yank!.. You want to Grasp the Hair and then GENTLY Hold and Pull on it until it releases itself from the skin... it's the most painless and effective way, and You don't get the breakage that you would if you where to just Yank. That's the difference between "Tweezering" and "Plucking".

for me, defeitnly WAXING is the way to go! it lasts longer , is less painful....ahh the beauty of it.

if u do need to pluck tho, it'll hurt a lot less if you do right after u get after the shower...good luck!

...and warning, the first time u get it waxed, they will be red and it might be pretty painful....but it gets much better the more u get used to it
