Because the best way to get a girls attention is to show that your not that interested. Maybe give her a little eye, but not too much. Method in the madness. He probably adores you.

for the same reason a woman does. Because it's embarressing for someone to catch you checking someone out....woman
are the masters at this(side-glance, quick looking away). No man
can match a woman in hiding a checking out stare!
