If you have a fresh water tank .First , the water may be an issue, if you need help leaning how to test you water go to any pet smart and they would be glad to help (bring a sample of your water). Seccond how many fish do you have? If you have a 15 gallon tank you should have about 10 or less in the tank at a time, If you have bubbles this increases the amount of fish you can keep a little. Third If it's nutrition or stress ,try frozzen blood worms they aren't as grose as the name. I hope I helped a little.

Gold fish needs plenty of aeration. Gold fish needs clean water. Only use overnight water from tap. That is to leave the water overnight to get ride of chlorine. Gold fish can die instantly with a totally new tap water. Do not change all of the water in the tank. Remain half tank with the old water if possible. Siphon out waste matter and then add in the overnight water. Do not overfeed goldfish. Goldfish is greedy when food is concerned. Overfeeding will affect their swimming pattern and kill them. It will also damage the tank water. Good luck.

You need a proper size tank and a filter to clean the water and a bubbler to put air into the water. Don't overfeed them. Add a couple of large snails to clean up the bottom of the tank. Millions of people keep goldfish successfully by doing these things.

if your talking about goldfish, start with checking your filter, if it is a charcoal type you have to clean the charcoal each time you change it. the water needs to be cold too. if the room is warm put a fan over the water, this evaporates the water faster and cools the water down. other than that check with the experts at the fish store.

a 10 gallon tank, filter, and heater.
I honestly think the success relies on the heater.
