I have had my VM phone for 4 years and I have never had a lick of trouble with it. I have always gotten great customer service. It's very easy to get minutes. I love it. You can do auto top up on your credit or debit card. You can pay for minutes on line. You can pay for minutes on your phone with a credit card. You can pay cash for top up cards. And you only HAVE to top up every 90 days which is cool.

I bought Virgin Mobile phones for my father and my son, neither of whom use a phone very much. They're both very pleased and haven't had problems--but, then again, they don't use their phones very much. :-)
I think it's a good way to go if you don't want a contract and don't talk a lot on your cell phone. If you do plan to use it a lot, though, it could get pricey.

I have both Virgin Mobile and Tracfone, and I love them both. If I cant get coverage with one I can get it with the other. I travel allot the back roads. Virgin Mobile is very cool for young ppl. I got auto top off..if you are young, get VM...'cuz you can change your plan anytime you want too...and no contract....all the ppl at VM sound really cool and young....you wont have any problems...I guaranty it!

its good for first time cell phone users but it is kinda a pain..Because its like 25 centes per mintue and after 10 mins its only 10 cents or something and you always gotta but top up cards..Because when you run out of minutes you can't use your phone..Only for 911.
