Any one heard of or used Second Chance lending group? I am in desperate need of a short term loan because of identity theft and someone stealing money from our bank account so my credit looks bad eventhough it is not my fault. I applied with this company but they want me to pay a down payment on the loan. I have never heard of this so I didn't know if it was a scam or not. I can't afford to be scammed anymore right now. Please if anyone has any experience let me know. Thanks!

Putting up money to borrow money sounds risky. If it sounds fishy it probably is.

SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT!
There are plenty of smart people who were is desperate need of a short term loan. They borrowed from people who just made it worse. You are actually better off working with your lenders than you are to borrow from anyone who wants a down payment on a loan. If you are having trouble with indentity theft, you need to get that fixed. Gather your facts, talk to your bank and contact the three major credit reporting agencys to put a disclaimer in your file.

I have never heard of Second Chance Lending Group, but DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!

You should NEVER have to make a down payment on something like a loan.

IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!

If you had money, you would't need a loan....DO NOT give away money to get money.

I would report them with the Better Business Bureau.

Run the other way, fast!

I once fell for this kind of scam, years ago. I was desperate and paid a fee, then never heard from the company again. (Not the same company, but sounds like the same idea.)

These days there are quick loan places on nearly every streetcorner. They charge high interest, but at least they won't cheat you.
