Draw something such as a tension graph. This is a graph, like in maths, which the page numbers (or chapter numbers) of the book along the bottom axis and then the amount of tension on the left axis. The left axis is then labelled between 0 (not at all tense) and 5 (the most tense part of the whole book). You then draw a line across the graph across all the page numbers (or chapter numbers), to show the tension as it increases and decreases. At locations where there is a large increase or large decrease, you briefly label next to that point, the occurrence in the story that caused such a change in tension.
