No.... notify your bank asap and then call the company. The only agency that can do that is the IRS.
Note: Now that you have added it's for your car loan, pull out your copies of the loan and document papers and see if you agreed and signed up for this. That is why it is ultra important to ask questions during such transactions and take your time and read EVERYTHING very carefully before signing such papers.

If you haven't signed anything regarding a tenacy agreement or something along those lines, then she can not legally put your name on everything before she leaves. Also, you have one other problem, if you don't have a tenacy agreement or something, then you have to move out as well.

If you gave them permission at anytime, then yes they can. I would go to your bank and deny the payment and take them off your automatic payment.

As you word it, NO they cannot.
You should not have given them your bank acct. number, you must have signed automatic withdrawl as payment.
If for some reason the money is not in the acct., they repossess your car.

Not unless you preauthorized the payment. CHeck with the bank and see why they allowed it. If you did a preauthorization then STOP the process

If you signed up for auto-withdrawals, then yes....
Don't you remember any of the paperwork you signed for the loan? You must've put your checking account number on one of the forms for them to do this.

only if you preauthorized a direct debit payment, either one time or scheduled intervals.
May have been in the contract you signed when you bought the vehicle and you just did not notice.

It's possible if you granted them electronic access before to your account. If you never granted them access before, I don't think so... you'd have to dig up any agreements and read them.
