Hard to tell--- heard some polls indicate that many R's running are way behind. But you get somebody like Liberman who just got booted (yea!)...
If Dems rally and candidates can come across as somewhat intelligent, coherent and talk to issues people support, then yes.
It all really depdeds on the race and the makeup of the electorate in a given jurisdiction.
btw- Mishi-- wake up-- the next election is in November 06 and we're not electing a President this time around.

Does it really matter! We need an independent to run. I have an idea how about one term elections for congressmen. You can only run once then the special interest groups and career politicians will stop screwing over the American people. And it would allow real Americans to represent their country

Hopefully not. I think both of those parties have pretty clearly demonstrated that they don't do well in power.
Definition of insanity: voting for the same people over and over again and expecting different results.
Time for a change. Think independently. Vote Libertarian.

Well, it doesn't matter which party is running the country it is really all about special intrest groups, no matter which side you are on, one will screw the other....
And no matter what "America" picks, the electorial college picks the president.... so it depends who gets the most electorial votes in the big states... CA, NY, etc.

I can only pray that somehow the Lord can open the peoples' eyes to the truth. Which would, of course, result in a Republican landslide victory.
