Drop the kids off at their grandparents so I can come home and 'unpack in peace' - then I get home, make coffee and relax!! Most of the stuff goes into a spare room out of sight to the naked eye, then I get through it all in the next fortnight. Actually, been home a month now and some of it still there. Hmm.

Pick up the post, dump it on the sofa for reading later, switch the kettle on, fry some nice bacon so its lovely and crispy, slap it in between two slices of thick bread and drizzle HP brown sauce on it, take the sarnie and a coffee into the room, fling my shoes off, sit on the sofa and enjoy my bacon sarnie, bliss.

Check the house for spiders. They always come out when you're gone. The worst ones hide in the sink or bath.
