I think grooventimes, (the one who said it could be cancer) is scare mongering you dont know until you go to the doctors, sometimes when the nipples are tender it could a hormonal thing also, dont just jump to conclusions, best to find out exactly what is making your nipples tender. Good Luck.

progesterone levels at various times in ur cycle. can cause pain.some birth control pills have this effect,too.(by "sensitive", i assume ur referring to pain,soreness?)
