Generally getting them to breed is not a problem. Give them a 10-20 gallon tank with filter and heater. Throw in 1 teaspoon of table salt, or kosher salt per gallon. Feed them once a day about what they can eat in 2-3 minutes. Clean the tank with a gravel vacuum once a week. Stock the tank with no more than one guppy per week. If you want the fry to survive be sure to have grassy, or bushy type plant for them to survive.
PS- Males are more colorful. The anal fin of the male is narrow, while the female's is rounded. Female unlike most fish give live birth. Often females in the store are already pregnant. Look for a rounded belly with a dark spot on it.

It is easier to have a group of these guppies both males and female. Female lay live guppies from their stomach. But usually will be eaten up if the female is not being seperated to a breeding tank. When you observed any females with big big stomach, start to move them to a breeding tank. Prepare the breeding tank with a net with holes big enough for small babies to penetrate. Place the ready females into the middle of this net. Ensure that they must not be able to swim out of this net. When the babies hatch, they will drop through the net and get into the bottom of the tank. Leave them alone as they will have egg yolk attached to their bodies to feed themselves. When the female is seen "flattened", remove them to a tank to recouperate. Then introduce them back to their original tank after two days. When the babies are seen to be free swimming, feed them with tiny live food like brine shrimp babies.

guppy's are very easy. put 1 male in with 2 or 3 females, a 20 gallon long tank would be ideal. make sure you have plenty of places for babies to hide, besides the usual plants and things on the bottom, get some plastic breeding grass that floats on top.

my guppies recently had babies, you will be able to tell when your female is pregnant, she gets really fat, your best bet is to get a breeding tank, this is a small tank that floats in your community tank, the female will give birth, and the babies will sink through slits at the bottom of the breeding tank, take the female out and let the babies grow in their own little nursery. this way they are safe from the others. hope this helps.

The guppies that has colorful dots are male... the one with a gray or a guppy that doesn't have any dots is a female. You have to wait until it grows a little bigger to see the result. Hope you're happy with it.

put a male and a female in the tank and they'll do the rest. I think guppys are like tribbles, the more you feed them the more they breed.
