there's a systems engineer that had a wonderful answer to a question similar to this one. He said a 60w bulb cost about $0.11 in 24/hrs. Thats $3.30 a month and $39.60 a year!
Check it out here.

A 60-watt incandescent bulb left on all year would cost about $45 to keep on. However, the bulb would probably burn out first no matter what the warranty says.

Compact Fluorescent equivalent bulbs cost about 75% less per year and will last at least 18 months as long as they are not used on a dimmer.

1kw of electricity is 1 unit, u should know the price of 1 unit, the companies specify it.
A 60W light bulb will run for 1000/60 hrs for 1 unit i.e. 16.67hrs

now u should b able to calculate how many hours a light bulb with different power (watt) will run.
and u can calculate the no. of units for a month by dividind the hours in a month by how many units the bulb will run for.

hope it was usefull

Only around 10 cents an hour.

That depends on how much energy the bulb uses.
