Alright people the freezing is just not working!!!!! its still soft. Im gonna try the toothpaste next.

put them in the freezer till the silly putty get's hard & crack it off - just a guess

I've used toothpaste to get silly putty off of hair and it worked not sure about the jeans

I'm more interested in knowing how a huge amount of silly putty got onto your jeans.

Almost as above, you could take an icecube and apply to the silly putty, then peel off when frozen.

what about using lighter fluid?? never tried it on clothing but, it works well at getting sticky stuff off everything else. Good luck!!

remove what you can and then freeze your pants and gently break the rest after it has frozen...
