The still waters of thought are so deep as to be bottomless. It's a beautiful place of many mysteries and shifting currents that only bring more thoughts on the tide.

Well, this questions assumes thoughts are actually objects and if they are, then they could have bottoms. However, a hole or a pit is the lack of substance and thoughts are nothing but substance. So, no, they do not have bottoms in the sense of a pit or hole.

Any object can have a bottom though, it just depends which way you turn it, the bottom is always at the point closest to the earth. In this way "bottom" itself becomes a thought because it is variable.

Hard to tell, people that have deep thoughts often rise to the occasion and those who feel they've reached the bottom, often never think beyond the moment (or themselves) until someone or something pulls them up.

Not necessarily.

My deep thoughts often centre on breasts, legs, lips and eyes. Bottoms are a common feature, its true, but by no means universal or exclusive.
