For me, it's probably been Millenium Force at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. I was there once maybe 5 years ago and it was just built. We got into the front part of the front car, and after we got done, they shut down the ride for the day for repairs. Amazing roller coaster though, wow. Anybody else?

No contest! Millennium Force - Cedar Point / Sandusky, Ohio

It broke 10 world records when it opened in 2000.

It's 310 foot tall with a 300 foot 80 degree angle drop.

Top speed: 93 MPH.

Several hills are arched to provide maximum "air time". The third hill is the best and is like 182 feet tall!

It has two tunnels.

Over a mile of track.

Tiered Seating.

It has a high speed "elevator cable" lift system.

Its one of the smoothest roller coasters I can think of.

And the thing never seems to slow down! I swear it's moving over 60 MPH when the final station brakes are engaged.

The coaster built to run taller and faster at that "spa land" park in Japan has already closed down! Yeah Kingdom Ka and Top Thrill Dragster are taller and faster, but the ride is over in like no time at all!

Cedar Point is just plain awesome, it also has my second favorite roller coaster, Raptor.

For me, it's Dragster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Before that ride opened in 2003, it was Millennium Force. The Dragster goes from 0 to 120 mph and shoots you over a 420 hill. A corkscrew going up before the hill and one on the way down. The adrenaline rush you get is like none other.

On the Millennium Force the best seat is row 5 outside. But if you have a major fear of heights not the ride for you to be on if your the person in the outside seat facing Lake Erie. That's a little difficult to see and feel.

But this park is my favorite one. We try to go at least once a year.

I live in central Minnesota, so I have trips to Valleyfair in Shakopee. Usually the first ride I go on is a water ride called Thunder Canyon. You almost always get wet. Then, when you walk through the exit, there is a roller coaster called Excalibur(high heights, fast speeds). It got me drier than I was going to be for the rest of the day.

I would also recommend Mad Mouse (also at Valleyfair). The awesome thing about it: 180 degree turns!!

Steel, no inversions-Superman:Ride Of Steel at SFNE. Anyone who's been on it will agree it's an absloute rush.

Steel, with inversion-Laser at Dorney Park. Short ride, but it's my favorite for sentimental reasons. (It was the first looper I went on)

Hanging coaster-Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Virginia. The themeing make it amazing.

Hanging coaster, with inversions-(tie)Mind Eraser at SFNE and Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Virginia. Both are just intense, athough Mind Eraser probably should run two circuits. It's so short.

Wood-Goliath at Dorney Park. It's gone now, but I was the second person ever through the turnstiles, and in Car 1 Seat 2 for it's innagural run. Massive woodie with a great layout, and one of the best first drops.

Well I'm from close to STL so I go to 6 Flags over Mid-America.
1. Screamin Eagle - first time I rode it the ride ran backwards for that year (1992 I think)

2. Oreintal Express (Worlds of Fun in Kansas City)
3. Jet Scream at 6 flags as well. This one is gone now.

Kingda Ka is the most fast and tallest rollercoaster in the world. and Nitro topped 4th place on the Travel Channel Top 10 Rollercoaster in the world.

Also The Locnus Monster in Bush Garden Williamsburg, VA best upside down rollercoaster

The curler coaster at manhattan manhattan in Vegas. I rode on it at night. It wasn't as extreme as others i've got been on (e.g., Superman, Mr. Freeze), yet something approximately being so extreme above each and all the strip grow to be fairly freaky!
