It has to be the who shot Mr Burns two part episode and the Treehouse of Horror Episodes. I know its not a moment but its really hard to pick moments from The Simpsons because there are so many good moments.

My favorite Simpsons moment was when Homer took out a container of Neopolitan Ice cream (the kind with three flavors, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry), he said "MMM, chocolate", then noticed all the chocolate was gone and said "Doh", pulled out a 2nd one and a third one and said the same thing with each one. Then yelled to Marge that they needed more ice cream.

the best moments always begin and end with Homer for me, and one of my favs is the halloween episode when Flanders, the devil, takes his soul for a doughnut - that whole ep is fantastic, especially when he is in hell eating 'all the donuts in the world'
