Here's a list of treats I give my bunnies:

- wooden chew sticks (bark, etc. found anywhere that carries pet supplies) I like to hang these from the top of the cages to give the rabbits more fun in trying to get them down

- fruits and vegetables (apples, bananas, oranges, carrots, bell peppers, etc.) On really hot days, I'll freeze the fruit before I serve it so the rabbits will have some cool treats that will last a while.

- paper plates (regular white with no coating) Often I'll just throw the paper plate that I cut the fruit and veggies on. It still tastes like their favorite snacks and they have fun throwing it around the cage and flipping it over.

- baby toys (keys, rattles, etc.) My second oldest rabbit really loves these things. She'll swing the keys around to hear them rattle and sometimes she'll even throw them in my direction and play catch!

I supplement these will plenty of time to run around in the rabbit pen outside. Supervised, of course.

Hi !! Bunnies are the best pets you could ever ask for. They are loving and entertaining pets. I have had as many as 21 rabbits at a time and i have found out lots of things. #1 On days when tempatures go over 78 you MUST watch for signs of heat exhaustion(lazy, not eating or drinking)What they love when its hot is a frozen water bottle to lay against (old pepsi bottles or apple juice jugs work great)..just keep 2 or 3 in freezer and rotate them to keep him/her cool. They love greens of any sort, alfalfa, beet greens, broccoli, carrot tops, celery, clover, endive (my bunnies fav) lots more if you want a list message me at volcanogirl_rawks. Pellets are NOT good for ur bunnie..overweight big time for him ,,,buy fresh cleaned OATS. They love oats and make sure any treats or snacks you give them contain NO NUTS!!Sugary treats such as banana's and grapes should only be occasional.Oh and apples with NO seeds.

The best thing, which most people fail to do, is let them out of their cage as much as possible. Play with them, give them a good diet, give them bunny toys to stimulate their minds....no one wants to feel neglected! If you have not done so already, please go to rabbit.org for more information concerning housing, diet, spay/neutering, etc. You may be surprised when you read their care sheets. (Did you know that a diet containing mostly pellets can make a bun seriously overweight? They should have a diet high in fresh veggies and unlimited timothy hay) I think that you will have a very happy bunny if you stick by these guidelines and give them lots of time out. :)

Best of luck

a great way to make your rabbit happy is to bring it out of their cage!! they love just being outside and playing! they also love being massaged, they love it when you pet them and you just showing attention!!First and foremost is attending to her chewing needs. Bunnies absolutely love to chew. Phone books are popular with bunnies who love to shred the pages, so make sure you keep all of your old phone books (you might even ask your friends and family for theirs.) A bunny can go through a phone book pretty quickly.

Toilet paper and paper towel rolls are also safe and popular chew toys for bunnies. To make it even more fun, you can take a roll and stuff hay inside for them to dig out.

Boxes and paper bags are also a great source of entertainment for bunnies. You can fill the paper bag with hay, or just put an open paper bag on the floor for the bunnies to crawl into and dig. You'll be surprised at how long they can entertain themselves by playing with the bag.

Cardboard boxes are also an incredibly easy source of entertainment. Take a fairly large box and cut several doorways and windows into it. (Bunnies always prefer to have at least two entrances.) Your bunny will love to go in and dig, chew (making the doorways or windows bigger) and hide away. It's also a great place to put your bunny's haywhich she can eat as well as dig. You can also securely tape a bunch of cardboard boxes together, so the bunnies can run through them and play.

Use your imagination and creativity, and you'll find there are endless ways to turn everyday cardboard boxes into a playground for your bunnies.

You can make her happy by petting her, letting her out in a spmall space, and play with her. When she gets tense, just leave her alone. Amd give her some space.

Keep their cage clean and give them plenty of fresh water and food. Pet them daily, but don't do anything to make them feel threatened or scared. They are prey animals and need to feel secure to be happy.
