I'm sure its fine. My twins are 9 months old and just recently started eating size1 foods. They did the same thing, but they wouldnt even eat the cereal. Just keep trying to give it to him once a day. One day you'll be surprised and he will eat it all up! If you are worried about it you can also put some baby oatmeal in his formula and put it in the bottle to drink.

After month 6, babies should start eating other kind of food, not only formula and rice cereal. Try giving him fruit (scratch a banana or apple with a little spoon), try also mashed potatoes with a touch of butter and salt, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, (you can mix the puree with a little chicken or beef broth. Try also a puree with soft cookies mixed with formula milk (Do we latinos have more options to feed babies?) You will see he likes some and others he does not. But at least he will start eating.
A baby has to know there are other foods, if not he will never learn how to eat.
Good luck!

I think this is okay, so long as he's still getting plenty of formula (sorry I don't know enough about formula to evaluate the 32 oz. you posted).
Just keep trying other foods. Eventually he'll like it. Keep in mind the rule of using only one new food per week (so if he has a reaction, you know which one it is and can avoid it).
Have you tried banana? That was always my kids fav. first foods. Fresh, rip mashed banana or jarred.

you're forgetting some info, is he gaining enough weight? developing normally? You should ask your doctor
Id say thats fine. They get all the nutrients they need from formula. Some say that they should only be given formula until one year. Others say start on food around 4-6 months. So Im sure he will want to try it by a year old.

At 7 months, my baby had cereal mixed into her formula and she likes the combination, but she doesn't like other stuff like apple sauce and bananas. She's 10 months now and couldn't stop eating. lol. I think your baby's not ready to taste new flavors yet. But, keep trying and I think eventually he'll be open to taste other things. You have plenty of time to work with him.

As long as he is still getting plenty of formula, it should be fine. If he starts loosing weight I would seek advise from your pediatrician. Also try not to introduce him to alot of different foods at the same time. That way if he happens to have food allergies, you will have a better idea as to what caused it.

Don't give up! I would keep trying to give him new foods, but as long as he gets enough formula, he should be okay. Is he maintaining his weight or gaining weight? That would be a sign the formula isn't enough for him. You can talk to his doctor, he/she might have suggestions for you.

If he is gaining weight i would think it's ok, but if you are worried, ask your health visitor what you can do, maybe ask for vitamin supplement?
Well that's what i would do, I'm not a professional though...
