call the courthouse in the county she was born. i got mine that way in colorado. told them mother and fathers name and date of birth sent them $13 and got it in the mail

Do a google search for birth certificates for NY State and there are many sites that allow you to order on line. You will of course need to answer some questions that only your mom will be able to answer. I just received mine a few weeks ago. Good luck.

Contact the City Hall of the town in which she was born, ask for the records department. Be prepared to pay a fee or provide some proof that you are related...

Do you know what county? There should be a county clerk office that has birth and death records.

call your Dept. of vital records office and request and appl, or on the net under there site and pay for it online w/ credit card, thats what my mom did for her grandchild
