True but around here if you come up behind a car and all of a sudden it slows down like 10 under for 5 miles and then speeds back up to 15 over it's usually a woman with a cell phone stuck to her head. Just the truth sweetie, men drive bad too, just not all over the map ya know.

there are more women that appear to be bad drivers than men.
the problem today is mostly cell phones.
i just read a story, a woman in a car, on a cell phone, pulled up to a red light, one lane 5 cars deep of cars waiting at the red light.
she flew through the intersection and plowed into a minivan killing a 5 year old in it.
all cause she was on the phone and not even looking at where she was driving.
in milwaukee, its the same thing X 10,000 every day.

That is the truth, sistah! :)
We have one car. It had no dents in it until we got married and my husband started driving it. All his dents.
Whenever we see bad driving he'll bank on it being a woman and when it's not -- which probably 60% of the time it's a guy -- he'll find some other excuse for him like "oh, he's old," or "he's got an out of state license plate," or "he's Asian." Something.
And when I say he's not being fair after all, I'm a woman and he doesn't think I'm a bad driver, he'll say "well, you're different."
It's just a case of people not letting their experience reshape their stereotypes. It's easier for them to believe in the stereotype than challenge it.

who knows why...I think people who drive SUVs can drive off a mountain because when they back out of a parking spot, they act like they're driving a frickin' bus or something. And they think they can cut off us little cars and not use their blinkers!!! Sorry I'm done ranting....
