But I also believe they must somewhat feel what they said or else they woudlnt have said it. The liquor just brings the courage out.

You never heard of a straight guy getting so drunk that he asks to get bent over by another guy right?

But you always hear about the drunk guy hitting on somone he shouldnt be and it's always because of the booz.

Do you think there has to be some truth in what is said even when drunk? Otherwise what would make you say it?

My mother always said - "The drunken mind reveals what the sober mind conceals".

A lot of people say stupid things when they are drunk, but alcohol has a tendency to make people say or do things which they are sorry for the next morning. It also has a tendency to bring out the truth about the way a person feels, but cannot express it when they are sober. It makes a person irrational and emotional. It has a courage all it's own. I woke up one morning with a beautiful naked blonde woman in my bed. When I threw the covers off me, I looked down. I was naked too. I'm a woman, for crying out loud. I blame it on the alcohol. Okay, maybe the drugs too, which I do not do anymore. But yes, most times what people say when they are drinking, is the truth told. It lets a person have less inhibitions. And more stupidity, on a whole different level.

When a person gets drunk they lower their level of inabistions. This allows a person to say whatever it is that comes to their mind without having to feel responsible for it. It people don't like it, thenthey say it was because they were drunk. The liquor does not bring the courage out. It simply allows a person to avoid responsibility. Most of the time when people get drunk they use this as a means to say things just to provoke arguements and discord. This is known as a mean drunk.

Alcohol doesn't change some one's feelings, it impairs judgment.

So, someone might do or say something they wouldn't say while sober. That is why, it is considered unethical to have sex with a woman who is drunk.

He or she, in a sober state of mind, might want to sleep with the person, but their judgment tells them it's not the right thing to do. Well, when that judgment is impaired, they are more likely to follow through.

For the gay question, someone might be curious, but social stigma and other reasons may tell them it is wrong. Impair their judgement, and who knows. This certainly doesn't happen to everybody. I know people who will only karaoke if drunk and I know other people who would never karaoke no matter how much they drank.

So, does that make the person gay, probably not. If they continue to get drunk and sleep with guys, well then they may be in denial, bi, or whatever. It doesn't really matter to me to assign someone with a label.

MMMM, yeah, I guess you are right. But sometimes there are many truths inside ourselves that we keep under control at all times, and booze just let the wrong door open.
Once I was drunk and said very stupid things, same that I regret, because they were not so important and it hurt someone else's feelings, and for me that was more important than anything. Booze just makes a fool out of everyone.

I firmly believe that a person who is drunk will say and do things that they wouldn't normally do. However I believe that they want to do or say these things, the alcohol just gives them the courage. I have never done anything when I was drunk that I did not want to do.

yes when a drunk is doing things and saying things they mean it. Most get drunk to get out the problems they are having. They say they are doing it to forget it. But it makes it 10x's worse. But also drinking also causes alot of fighting and alot of voilence against love ones and friends. So if you know anyone close to you doing this. You need to try and help them if they want help. other wise it might be for the best to remove yourself from that person.

i think the same way too... they just have everything inside already and they take it out in the open when the are drunk. because they feel stronger. that doesn't really mean that it is true in every way. i mean i must have thought my mum was mean sometimes but i do love her still and i have forgiven her for that but maybe if i get drunk, i tend to exaggerate things and remember from the past and say that she is mean. i don't really feel it now or want to say it, i had felt it once but the booze just made me exaggerate things more

There's definatley truth in it. Ever heard of the expression: A drunk man's words- but a sober man's feelings?

Not exactly sure what you are asking. But alcohol does loosen inhibitions in most people and when this happens yes any thing could happen. As to the sexuality of the person involved maybe they want to try something they believe forbidden and can say it was the alcohol that did it.

I think there is a lot of truth in drunk talk. Just because you say things you don't mean, doesn't mean that you don't mean them! That sounds wierd, but what I mean is this: Drunk people say things they don't mean to say because they wouldn't say it if they were sober. That doesn't mean it's not the truth.
