dont know if he was gay but he once stuck one of frank sinatra's bodyguards on the floor after he phoned the suite above him and asked frank to keep the noise of his party down.

When he died the news/Hollywood news all said he was and was well known for being gay. By the 2000's all the gay stuff was eliminated and it was called a rumor. A whole bunch of his fans didn't want him to be gay so it appears he not anymore.

No way! My Grandpa was with him many years ago in a run down bar in Scottsdale Arizona after a movie set, drinking and laughing ,(My grandpa said he had odd humor) He said the bar owner closed the doors for them as Mr. Wayne was having sex with two chicks right in public. My grandfather also has seen him kicked the rearends of 4 men at one time (over a woman he met at a bar) My guess is NOT GAY!
