The sons and daughters of George and Jeb are all of fighting age.
Jeb has a healthy fighting age boy and they claim to support Bush2.
I served. Why haven't they volunteered?

" because its a choice" doesnt answer why they profess belief and still dont reach down to the gut and live it.

"toughguy": You also need a reading comprehension course. Read the entire question before ranting. I dont recall any of the Kennedy's or Kerrys backing Bush.

I have not heard of any Kennedys, Kerrys, Clintons, Gores volunteering either so what's the point? Lets check out both sides to make this a fair argument. Probably not too many on either side I guess. I served too and it's still a matter of choice. I can't speak for anyone who hasn't.

Could it be because they don't agree with their father/uncle 's war? It wouldn't do for them to be too vocal about it. They don't strike me as politically astute youngster. Not like Patty and Ron Reagan who spoke up often to their prissy Moms horror. I doubt that Jeb really agrees with his brother either, and his old man doesn't show up at Crawford as much as his cronies, or Saudi oil men.

didn't Michael Moore prove in Fahrenheit 9/11 that few Congressmen send their kids to war? Why would the exec branch be any different...regardless of party.

It's easy to pick a fight with someone when someone else is doing the fighting. Not just Bush; rather any politician....

How many times can this question be asked? The answer is still the same. It's a volunteer service.

But it means nothing. It signifies nothing. Your attempt to paint them as somehow being wrong because their children choose not to join the military has no bearing upon anything, yet you, in your partisan myopic echo chamber, keep repeating this idiocy.
You may have served, but it is evident that you never learned anything, and you never have grown up. They didn't make a man out of you, they made an infantile blowhard out of you.

Why? Because it's a choice........duh.
I appreciate all that you have done while serving our country. I am proud of all our soldiers regardless of why they made the sound decision/choice to join the military.

Maybe the same reasons no Democrat kids have.
At least they're not draft dodgers like Clinton.
