You don't need an invitation to register with Google to use GMail. Google allows you to register for free and receive the invite via SMS - https://www.google.com/accounts/SmsMailSignup1

I have an account with Gmail but if I'm not mistaken you have to be invited by someone who already has one but they must have had one for quite a while before you can start giving invitations out. They only way to recieve one is to know a person who can invite you to join.

u need to get an invitatoin form someone who is already using Gmail.... this is quite simple,, and Gmail,,,, wow it rocks,,,, mail me and i will send u the invitation,,,,,,
