I have been watching the whole star wars trilogy lately and I was just reading a post about it. Why does everyone hate Jar Jar? I loved him. I thought he was great. But what is it about him that everyone hates?

We just watched it last night - I think he is adorable (and so does my son)!

I think it's because he was a character that kind of signaled the demise of the Star Wars empire...classic Star Wars fans were hoping for something more true to the first 3 movies (or last 3, I should say), and seeing Jar Jar was a bit of a disappointment, I think. He's an OK character, a little annoying but not terrible, but most die hard Star Wars fans hated him for the fact that he brough an almost silly and stupid atmosphere to the movie. That's what I've gathered from talking to people, anyway.

people just think hes annoying and stupid- but he was meant to be the first comedic star wars character in the trilogy so it doesnt bother me. i <3 star wars

I don't see how anyone can hate him...he's my favorite character from Episodes 1-3 (Episodes 4-6 is Han Solo)

I guess because he can be so annoying.But so is my hubby at times and I love him.
